NSW: Eastern Sydney hotel robbed with sledgehammers, gun

SYDNEY, Dec 31 AAP - Three men armed with two sledgehammers and a gun robbed an eastern
Sydney hotel today, police say.

The three men forced their way into the premises on New South Head Road, Rose Bay,
just after midnight (AEDT), threatening staff before taking a sum of cash.

Police said the men were last seen fleeing in a 2006-model silver BMW M3 sedan.

Anyone with information is urged to contact authorities.
